Eliza was definitely innocent, that is without a doubt. I personally suspect Charlotte and Thomas King were in some kind of conspiracy, the whole house seemed to be moved by some dark secret.
Personally I think Thomas King and Charlotte most likely had something to hide and Thomas did something, Eliza saw him in the kitchen as well and he ran away. The only true thing about this case is that everyone was blatantly lying, the only one that actually does make any sense was Eliza so she was likely the only real honest one throughout this utter injustice of a trial.
This is one case that affected me personally by the injustice, still makes my blood really hot. It ridiculous. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184836761789696160.post-32182661117623253072021-04-07T10:15:21.528-07:002021-04-07T10:15:21.528-07:00Thank you. If you've seen a teenager sit and play games for hours and for constant days, you'll see them gain more apathy and their mind turn into a chaotic state. Dionysus is also revered as the God of Creativity, God of Vitality, God of the Art of Living. Hence, the reason why he was known as the Twice-born God. The way to live is to re-create yourself from the ashes of your beliefs and turn into a fiery phoenix. Modern era has portrayed Dionysus incorrectly, if there are any doubts about this paragraph, let me ask one simple question. Why are the women referred as maenads, is it because they hunt, eat meat, engage with sexual activities, and dance around in life? Isn't this what modern men do? Men live a aimless life as they dance around in life, all they do is eat meat, engage in sexual activities and make hunting a game. Lastly, There are only two Demi-Gods: Heracles and Dionysus, in fact there was a prophecy stating that Zeus needed the help of his two mortal sons to defeat the Giants that will overtake Mt. Olympus. Would it make sense for Zeus to call upon the help of a God that makes Wine? Heracles represent Bravery and Dionysus represents Creativity, because with bravery and creativity in your life can you overcome any adversary. Wine was a metaphor for the Greeks, people have taken it to a literal sense. Why else would drinking wine make you age slower and enjoy life in the present tense only, why not water. As to the...Hello, thank you for your kind comment.
As to the memorial question, I must admit that I'm in two minds - I'm not a big fan of statues to the great and the good and so on but then again credit where it's due. Maybe, and this sounds trite and I'd don't mean it in that way, is that the true memorial to messers Minor and Merrit lies in the OED itself. It's that St Paul's Cathedral and Christopher Wren thing - 'if you seek a monument, look about yourself' (I'm paraphrasing). It's inadequate but I do hope that you can see my point. As a reader of dictionaries, I sometimes wonder just what it is that I'm reading comes from Dr Minor's submissions. Thank you again for your interest, if you can find the time please return and I hope you find something that interests you.mickhartleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18039253251453340331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184836761789696160.post-30554877383536412502013-01-27T11:17:13.695-08:002013-01-27T11:17:13.695-08:00I agree with you, a fascinating story and one told...I agree with you, a fascinating story and one told in typically able fashion by Mr Winchester.
